At Mimi-Metamorphosis Dance Theatre, we provide opportunities for young local dancers to transform into professional dancers.
Mimi-Metamorphosis Dance Theatre was formed in September 1995 by a group of three teachers from the Caribbean School of Dancing - Laura Ali, Allison Charles and Michelle Wilson, who were interested in establishing a professional local dance company for ADULTS ONLY!
Students are offered a broad spectrum of dance opportunities at all levels. Whether you are new to dance, returning to dance or simply interested in one of the most effective ways to get in shape, Mimi-Metamorphosis Dance Theatre has a class for you.
Our goal is to allow you to transform your body, mind and spirit to your fullest potential.
Students are given the tools to develop strong dance technique, artistic ability, self-confidence, and passion for the art of dance. The individual and unique talents and abilities of all are embraced and encouraged.
The company has worked and continues to work in close collaboration with various local and international artists. Mimi-Metamorphosis Dance Theatre continues to build its repertoire around contemporary works, many of which have relevance in a Caribbean context. The company aims to continue to develop dancers and to share this work locally, regionally and internationally.
